Migration Capacity Partnerships for Resilience: Partners-Driven Cooperation in Times of Regional Instability.
This side event examines how migration capacity partnerships can serve that purpose, drawing on two concrete experiences: the Migration Capacity Partnerships for the Mediterranean and the BRIDGE programme in the Jordan–Syria context. It takes place as States take forward implementation of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration and consider how the commitments in the Pact for the Future translate into practical cooperation on human mobility.
