The Committee on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of their Families (CMW) is the body of independent experts that works to protect the rights of the millions of migrant workers around the world. International Migration Review Forum 2026 - 3rd Plenary meeting, General debate (continued).

The President of the General Assembly will convene the second International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) from 5 to 8 May 2026. The Forum serves as the primary intergovernmental global platform for Member States to discuss and share progress on the implementation of all aspects of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, including as it relates to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and with the participation of all relevant stakeholders. General debate (continued) The Plenary brings together Member States and stakeholders to deliver official national and institutional statements during the IMRF. These interventions provide an opportunity to reflect on progress in implementing the GCM, share priorities and commitments, and outline concrete actions moving forward.
